Stuckey Farms (2015)

I headed over for a quick visit to Stuckey Farms. I've gone there nearly every fall since I was a little kid, as it is a fall tradition in my family.

It has changed a lot over the years, downsizing what were once seemingly endless pumpkin fields and such, but it's still a lot of fun to pick a pumpkin and pick apples straight from the trees. They have an old store that has some great pies, persimmon pulp, jams, apple cider from their trees and lots of other delicious food. They have cider slushies, which are quite good.

Lots of different apples varieties to pick from the trees and $12 for a half peck bag, which is fairly cheap since we picked probably 25 to 30 apples to fill the bag.

I remember as a little kid spinning this live bee display and getting reprimanded by the store staff, then the following year it had this sign on it...

Anyway, fun trip and we plan on visiting for many more years. For those in the Indianapolis area, their website is: http://www.stuckeyfarm.com/.
